Fishing - A Family Tradition

Charlie King has a lifelong love of the Great Outdoors. He was taught that love at an early age by his Dad who took him hunting and fishing on a very regular basis. He spent numerous summers with his grandparents on Lake Bistineau, as well as many weekends with his Dad, at the family camp that was built by his grandfather, dad, uncles and himself. “It was a fish and work type of situation until the camphouse was actually finished around 1961.” After its completion the time was spent having fun. Fishing, frog hunting, running trot lines and duck hunting on Lake Bistineau’s bountiful waters. Charlie’s love of bass fishing led him to the Webster Bassmaster’s Fishing Club where he quickly attained “Angler of the Year” in 1985. He began fishing local, regional and national tournament circuits enjoying success at every level, while offering guide services throughout his fishing career. Over the past 30 plus years he's fished from New York to Florida and everywhere in between. Charlie has experience, knowledge and passion that places him in a unique position to provide any angler with success.  

Charlie has a knack at communication with folks on a personal level. Being a retired RN, that trait enabled him to effectively administer to the needs of his patients. His passion for “helping people” has led to the next chapter in his life where he is a regular on the High School Fishing Team talk circuit. Where he demonstrates fishing techniques and products, shares how-to's and his love for the sport. Charlie has a passion for “passing it on” and enjoys teaching the next generation his love of the sport of bass fishing.  

Charlie guides for bass, crappie, catfish and bream and will put you on fish that are biting on a variety of lakes and rivers.
